I picked up this assembly / module at a recent hamfest. It is marked VHF
RECEIVER ASSY, 10412-80555-1 Contract No DAAB07-70-A-0505-SM01. The FSN is
5821-00-402-6637. It has a four position thumbwheel switch on the front.
The first digit is only a 0 or a 1. The rear has two D series connectors.
The top one has two coax connectors, a guide pin in place of the third coax
connector and 10 pins. The bottom connector has three coax connectors with
a guide pin in place of the fourth coax connector and 5 pins. The size is
about a foot long, the width is the same as a credit card short dimension
and the heigth is 1/2 of a credit card long dimension (I do not have a
ruler handy). Anyone reconize this receiver? What is its parent equipment?
The thumbwheels will go from 0000 to 1999, so I guess probably from 30 MHz
to 199.9 MHz? Probably FM as it has a crystal discriminator in it. What is
its actual frequency range?
Any help greatly appreciated.
