The BC-610 in its normal configuration covers from 2 through 18
Mhz.

There was a "conversion kit" which consisted of two tuning units,
two final plate coils, and two vacuum capacitors which allowed the
BC-610 to cover from 1500 to 2000 Khz and from 1000 to 1500
Khz.

That below is taken from my "Instruction Book for Radio
Transmitter BC-610-I", page 39, paragraph j.

" j. Frequency Conversion Kit MC-509. This kit is used to extend
the transmitter frequency range to cover 1 to 2 mc. It consists of a
chest containing three Transmitter Tuning Units TU-61, three
Transmitter Tuning Units TU-62, two Coil Units C-454, two Coil
Units C-455, two each 100- and 50-uuf plug-in vacuum capacitors,
and equipment to build a half-wave antenna. For full details,
including necessary changes to Antenna Tuning Unit BC-939-A,
refer to TM 11-281"
