However, all the books about the bombing mention that they sent a report
by radio of the effects/observations.  It was of the nature of filling in
a questionnaire, so it didn't have to be encrypted.  Sorry I don't have 
one at hand to cite right now.  This seems to imply they had HF and were 
in contact with their home base.
