Guys,
I have wrestled with this "book" off and on since the 1960s and of
course, having done 3.9 books in the last 10 years, have a much better
practical idea of what is involved. After I get the present car book off
my desk I will put my mind to trying to plan out the way such a book
should be organized, and put it on this list for suggestions. My style
is to try to do a definitive book on a subject, not a quickie. Not an
encyclopedia of course, but covering all the bases, personal and
technical. All suggestions will be welcome and if someone else wants to
undertake it I'll be glad to help him. Anyone who wants to see how I
approach a subject can go to Barnes & Noble and browse my 1996 book
"Offenhauser" or my 2001 book "Kurtis-Kraft." Different subject, but
you'd get the way I work.
