Would anyone know about the following coupler?
It's in a pressurized cylinder about 18 inches long and
has the following designations:
Name: Antenna Coupler
Part Number: 7010340
Mfgr: Univac Sperry-Rand Corporation
Fedeal Stock Number: 5985-00927-0416cx
Type: 3254c1
It has two connectors, a C antenna connector
and a 20 pin connector with the designation 1A9J5
Inside are various capacitors, including a motor
driven Vacumn variable capacitor. A motor
driven inductor is also included. By the values
of the capacitors and inductor, it looks like it
operates in the HF range.
I cannot tell if the motors are operated from an
AC (400hz?) or DC voltage.
There is a printed circuit board at one end with
the designation "descriminator". I guess this was used
to detect the SWR or power as it was tuning.
I would like to find out where this coupler was used
and if any documentation is available. I could probably
operate it the way it is if I knew the connections
to the 20 pin connector.
Thanks in advance.
