The plane that had the BC-224-A and the BC-307 supposedly was a 2-seat
Army plane. It doesn't look like there was much room for the  radio gear
which had to be right in front of the rear seat, no remote control on this
gear, but the BC-307 was not that big and did not use plugin TUs. This
would be around 1936-1940 period.
