BC-1157s are around - just no one really gives them a care.

The whole remote control aspect of the military in World War 2 (and
beyond) is pretty well a clean, unwritten slate. There seems to be a
zillion different sets, some from the earliest days of the war, but no
one can pin any of them down for use. The manuals tend to be rare and
very unclear.

BC-1158 was part of AN/ARW-9 (and probably others). I have quite a few
copies of the operator's manuals, so shout if you need one.

The AN/ARW-9 must have been one of those classified radios, as they were
equipped with a boom circuit.
