Hi All,

Currently uploading some files to homepage server
of a parabola that I picked up a while back. (free)
Just got motivated yesterday enough to muscle the
quarters around and bolt them together <whew!>.

Before Motivation...

After Motivation...
Front View - Not a 'baby' dish, as you can see in
comparison to the non-'baby' Jeep :)

Rear View - Good thing the Jeep brakes are set :)

Does anyone recognize this equipment ?
I'm thinking 'Battleship Issue' but not sure.
Diameter is 120", depth is 24". Looks to have
perhaps a couple 50cal holes in the mesh.

I'm considering using this to replace the BUD that
the Oak took out last Thanksgiving, but will need
to fabricate a totally different way to mount such
a heavy piece, mount the feedhorn (pipe and flange
maybe ?), and steer it. Any constructive or con-
struction :) thoughts about doing so, appreciated.
Also, if this IS MilSurplus, any pointers to docs
or specs on its application would be welcomed.

I'm aware the mesh is a little coarse for maybe the
C-Band and for sure the Ku-Band, but this thing is
heavy duty enough that I can probably cut the screen
off and replace it with sections of sheet aluminum.
It's a monster already, don't think a few pounds of
sheet metal is going to matter much :-/ And I'm SURE
it would improve the reflectivity...
