*(This document from the U.S. Army, 23rd Division was issued
in May of 1942. The units listed in this document were not the units
already deployed with the 23rd in the south Pacific.
These were "training" units, drilling Signal Corps officers
in Pennsylvania, providing replacements for the deployed Signal
units of the 23rd.
It's analogous to "farm teams" in baseball.
The Signals structures would be the same.
SCR-284 is specified for many units. However, according
to other 23rd documentation, due to a shortage of SCR-284
many units were still using SCR-288 and some older
radios at this time.
All units within a category are on the same frequency
unless otherwise noted.
"*" denotes my comments or a summary of the category.)
