[Milsurplus] removing ANTENNA fitting from BC-312

i am attempting to remove the larger ANT fitting from a BC-312; this is
the one located in the upper left corner of the unit (looking at the ra-
dio); i have removed the screw from the backside, but the major body of
the fitting is immovable; anyone know if this is threaded, or possibly
a press fit?  due to the components on the backside of the panel being
in the way i am having a hard time seeing just how this fitting is at-
tached to the front panel.
