NOT LONG AGO (9 MONTHS +/-) We in MARS were pleasured to hear from one
of the original Codetalkers on the US Army MARS chief's net. He spoke of
many
things, and included in this was that they did have 'guards' but it was
while they
were in the USA or on US Bases. It was because with short hair, and most
were
rail thin, so they looked Japanese. Anytime they went on the town, they
had to
go only to certain stores, restaurants and so on. Not so much in places
like the
Dakotas or Oklahoma, where many Native Americans were around, but in
Places
like New York, Miami, Seattle, LA, and so on. Also addressed were various
types of
equipment used and frequency ranges, problems and so on. Sadly, a month
+/-
after going on the air with us, the Chief went silent Key. He had been
made Senior
Chief of the tribe upon return as a hero of the war.
Since we know the current enemies of our country read/understand
some english,
perhaps we need to enlist some Osage speakers?? (They would try and learn
Navajo
after watching the movie hihi.
