Miami AirInc or someone built transistor-oscillator dynamometer back-fits
for the BC-453, etc. command receivers. Have one & Fair Radio has 2 bushels
So hf command set labor continued on, perhaps, Aero Bolivia C46s hauling
oil machinery or some dang thing.
Also once saw an ARC-4 with a "Air-inc refitted?" ID-plate substitute
at Dayton Hamfest. I let all $10+/- of it go BUT SHOULDN'T have. 'cause
now I wonder if refitter moved from 140-144 down to, say, 118-122. Or,
say, Ecuador allowed 'em in 140-144.
Know Delta replaced their Wilcox HF radio lanes w. BC639/640s @ way points
& Collins ARC-1s in air. W4KMR sed BC640s ate 25Ts like peanuts.
