Bonnie asked, so this is what I measured, any comments/corrections?
Antenna threads are assumed to be male UOS.
Antenna flexi bases/adapters are assumed to take a male thread of one
size and output a male thread of the same or different size, UOS.
BC-1000 antennas AN-130 & AN-131 have a 3/8-24 thread.
-----
PRC-6 antenna, 1/4-20.
-----
PRC-8, 9, 10, 28,
AT-271 long antenna, bottom thread is 5/8-18, but there is a short adapter
to 3/8-24.
AB-129 flexi base accepts 3/8-24 and outputs the same, 3/8-24.
AT-272 short antenna, whip portion has a 5/16-18 thread.
The goose neck base portion takes this and outputs the same, 5/16-18.
-----
PRC-25/77
AT-271 long antenna, same as listed above, outputs 3/8-24 from the short
adapter.
AB-591 flexi base takes the 3/8-24 and outputs 5/16-24. Below the thread is a
non threaded post of about 0.2" diameter and about 0.3" long to activate
the long
antenna sense switch inside the radio.
AT-892/AS-3575 short antenna, whip portion has a 5/16-24 thread.
The goose neck base portion takes this and outputs the same, 5/16-24.
-----
AS-3683 SINCGARS, whip portion is 5/16-24.
Gooseneck adapter accepts this but has a combo
female outer/BNC male inner termination.
-----
PRC-68/68A/126/128/136 take a 5/16-24 thread,
i.e. PRC-25/77 short antenna, amongst others.
PRC-68B takes a 1/4-28 thread.
