Dave, Hue and others, I am with you on the cussing, most of it is not
needed.  I just watched "Blackhawk Down" last night for the first time and
suspect that the language was accurate, but maybe we dont need that much
accuracy.  On the other hand, and back to a surplus radio topic, they had a
couple shots of the Sincgars radio's installed in Humvee's.  One good shot
revealed that the antenna connector was hooked to pure air.  Also, and
maybe some one can shed a little light on this subject, I did not recognize
the handheld mic being used thruout the movie.  Did not look like a M-80 or
the fancy thing that was developed for use with Sincgars (I do not recall
the nomenclature).  I think I saw one scene where the actor was listening
to what sure looked like a mic, maybe they have a speaker mic  for the
field radio"s? Thanks
