I have this transmitter ready to go on the air on 75 & 40 meter phone. The
suppressor grid bias is such that the plate current is 50% of the plate
current w/ the suppressor grid @ ground. The modulator output from the
transformer is such that it's voltage will swing the suppressor grid to 0
volts (on positive voltage peaks) and nearly to plate current cut-off (on
negative peaks).

Questions: info on the antenna used on the aircraft? i assume this was an
"electrically short" antenna, because of the way the output circuit is
designed. is this correct, and what is the approx. length of the antenna &
feed line??

functions of the 2 jacks on the side (for PL-68 size plugs): i
understand the plate current jack, but why did they include the osc. plate
current, too? and the purpose of measuring the modulator plate current ???

what voltage did the GF-11 use; the dynamotor output voltage/voltages?
does anyone have any idea of the voltage ratings of the by-pass caps. 500
volts too high on the 837s ??

i will pay anyone for a copy (or for copying) of the GF-11 manual.

i need a schematic diagram of the control box (CW-23097) and the
interconnect between it and the transmitter.

sorry to be so "long winded" but any info will be sincerely appreciated, as
well as a schedule on 3885 or 7290 Khz to check it out on the air..

many thanks, de john w4gqt
