I'm liking but not needing a battery bucket for a BC-1000 & someone who 
can re-make webbing harness(es)

Also wud like to make laminate clones of orig ID plate.  That been done?

Have 2 running on CB antennas & very modern boost/buck impulse supplies
w. 6V gel cells as basis.  Go ~2 mi in settled areas w. 100V on 
everything (RFA used to have 180V).  But range better by much than BC611
& even 'lil FRS dealies.

3 hrs. between charges on 18VA batteries.  OK!

But 1 BC-1000 has gel-cell attached w. tygon tubing.... which TM shows
was another way to use it when reduced-capacity battery employed!  Soldier
looks to be carrying a very ugly lunchbox.

But wud rather have 2nd can.  

Mebbe see y'all w. 'em @ Dayton - where they wudn't sell last year thank 
heaven.
