I've copied this to the places where
I posted my original rants, because a man should 
take his licks in the same forum where he dished them out.
I shouldn't have posted it in a couple of places,
but I lost my temper and did, so this has to go there, too.
A few people will complain that it's "off topic-"
They can just get over it.

I know now you were "in the middle" and were forced to act.
I'm sorry I put you there.  
It didn't occur to me and it should have.

I do not apologize at all for raising a red flag.
Next time I'll just find a better way.

As for people leaving the reflector over this-
Frankly, if someone would sign off a reflector just because
they don't like one thread, they have other issues 
that involve their own attitudes.  
And they don't have much in the way of commitment 
to the community if such small potatoes will run them off.
No- I don't feel even slightly bad that such people would leave,
but I *do* regret that I caused you trouble over it.

I do have some commitment to this community-
enough to post this and catch hell over it.  
But next time, I'll try to remember that my rants
can cause "collateral damage."
