It might be, but I think booting someone off a list is going a little too 
far. A lot too far, in my opinion. At very least, a pull to the side and a 
whisper in the ear effect of "tone it down".

As for hams and military electronics collectors on email lists - all I can 
say that we are a restrained bunch. I invite anyone here to some of the 
other lists I am on - most of note would be the classic computer list. 
THAT is a bowl of spitting snakes, by comparison, with assassinations 
occuring at least once a week (and I am not stretching the truth). As far 
as I know (and I have been a member of that list since it started), 
nobody has taken any of the shots so seriously as to start a legal 
battle. If the milsurplus list boots any member because of this fear, it 
really is overreacting, and should see where the damage is really being done.
