Upon the date 11:45 PM 1/2/02 -0500, William Donzelli said something like:
>Although the West Coast military meet is still quite far away, I am
>starting to think about it. The last couple of years I have made it, due
>to frequent flier miles, but this year I may not be able to do it. So I
>am thinking about a roadtrip.
>
>In order to make this work (pay for the gas and such), I would have to
>haul some things for people to and from the meet. Ports of call would be
>New York, Chicago, and the West Coast (Ft. MacArthur?), with stops in
>between. Big things are not a problem - I could easily take a BC-610 in
>the back on my van, and even larger things on the trailer. I have very
>reasonable rates, and treat things very well (I have done hauling in the
>past, and everyone has been very pleased).

I can enthusiastically vouch for William's services. He has stopped by the
house a couple of times on the way Westward and has taken a few items a
distance for me. One was a rather large business computer (a 300+ lb. DEC
VAX 11/750 with RA81 hard disk/TU80 tape drive, ca. 1981 or so) that I had
passed on to a fellow computer collector in Colorado. A true gentleman and
it was sincerely appreciated.

BTW William, Bev and I will welcome you again if you wish to stop off I-86
while going West and/or East if that's your path. We've got a good air
mattress now which our guests seem to like. Will save on your expenses for
sure.

Happy New Year everyone.

Regards, Chris
