The disks aren't made, but there is by far no shortage of them, I still
purchase cases of them for my older machines, disks are usually abut five
cents each. I am looking at seven bankers boxes full of blank 5 1/4" disks
and one bankers box of 8" disks. It isn't that they degrade rapidly, they
are just near the end of their usefull life. Now then, a 286 is a computer,
not a disk, and as such nearly any format currently made can be used with
it, 3", 2", CD internal and external tape drives... Just put whatever drive
you like into it
