>> CS-99 Intercom amplifier (works with the SCR-610)
Do you have a component list?
<
He means Interphone Equipment RC-99 (TM 11-702). The Interphone Amp is t=
he
BC-367 (12 volt) or BC-667 (24 volt). The M18 will normally use the
BC-367, as the PE-117-(*) doesn't do 24 volts. If you use the PE-120-A
which will, then you would use the BC-667. The radio is mounted in the
turret, and I'm told (I've been in the M18 but haven't examined it in
detail) that you can have 12 volts or 24 volts in the turret, but not bot=
h.
TM 11-702 does not list the M18 but also required would be a BC-739 and =
2,
3 or 4 BC-606 Interphone Control Boxes, Appleton Connectors, cordage, etc=
.

> PPT switches and headphones for headgear - goes with T45 above
Can you be specific on the type? =

<
The PTT switch and bailout cord required is the CD-318 (also used with th=
e
earlier T-30). The earphones required depend on the year that the M18 is=

being restored to. Early war (through about early 43) technically should=

be R-14's. Later should be ANB-H1's. Plus the wye-cord with the PL-54
(for R-14's), or PL-540 or PL-54R (for ANB-H1's) bailout plug. And a
CD-307 extension cord. TM 11-702 actually lists the HS-30-(*) headset, b=
ut
I don't know how comfortable they would be to wear under the tanker's cra=
sh
helmet. Judging by how comfortable they are to wear under a ball cap, no=
t
very. :-) Actually, the M18 itself may be later than the transition, so=

it would be a moot point.

The most difficult item to locate will be the BC-739 followed by wye-cord=
s
that haven't shrunk too much to use (unless you wear a very small tanker
helmet) followed by the Interphone Amp and the cordage to wire it all up.=
