A point not lost on a category of military surplus dealers who made
millions of dollars buying surplus materials from one component of DOD,
and selling it back for 10 times acquisition cost to another, sometimes
having it shipped directly from one Gov't warehouse to another. Even
better were the times when material could be sold right back to the
surplussing entity, then requiring only moving the material across the
street or around the corner. I can't give you the court docket numbers
any longer, but if anyone disbelieves the above, come to San Antonio and
contact the local FBI office. I'm sure they still have active files on
some of the recent cases.
