Yes, the three tubes in the Bendix PAT-40A were all 6V6GT tubes.  This
tube seems to have been real popular with a lot of the light aircraft
transmitters of the 1940s and early 1950s (including the RCA AVT-112,
and the derivative BC-474 ground HF set).

Every PAT-40A I've seen was crystaled for 3023.5 kcs, which had replaced
the previous standard HF air-to-tower frequency of 3105 kcs by the
mid-1950s.

I'm not sure what receiver was "standard" with the PAT-40A.  Doubtless
it was something that covered 200 to 400 kcs, to enable reception of
Adcock directional beacons and the standard tower-to-air frequency of
278 kcs.  Maybe they just paired it up with one of the BC-1206 surplus
receivers that would have been readily available post-war.
