I can at least narrow it down: this had to come from Popular Science,
Popular Mechanics, Life,  Look magazines, or Saturday Evening Post.
Seems sad to me, anyway, that the seller gets, or tries to get, more for
one ad, than the rest of the vintage magazine is worth, so the  rest gets
pulped. But that's the way the market works, and besides, being able to
read Old English is maybe becoming a lost skill. On the other hand,
maybe instead of being a form of cultural vandalism (or in addition to 
it ), the seller is providing a needed service by bringing the material
to our attention. Anyway, i certainly have mixed feelings when i see 
these listings for cuttings from magazines. In a way kinda reminds 
me of an antique enthusiast friend, who bought a couple pages from
a medieval Bible. But maybe medieval Bibles needed to be thinned out
also, otherwise we'd be overrun with them.
