In the FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH department,
I found a TM for the HP 5425L package
(TM 11-6625-1682-15/1) with the H96
optional specification, which is detailed as
differences from the standard 5245L in that:

1. The 50 to 60 hz fan assembly used for B1 is replaced
by a fan assembly which permits the instrument to be used
on 50 to 400 hz power lines.

Themotor in the above fan assembly requires a capacitor
in series with one of the three leads to the fan motor.
The capacitor is assigned a reference designator of
C25. The fan motor and capacitor are connected as
   shown in an attached diagram.

2. A thermal cutout switch (S5) is installed in the
AC line between fuse F1 and the junction of power
switch S3B and oven transformer T1 pin 1. Switch
S5 opens the AC line to the entire instrument (oven
included) when the internal cabinet temperature reaches
   approximately 65 degrees C (149 degrees F) and restores
power when the temperature drops to approximately 55
   degrees C (130 degrees F).

3. Decimal counter assemblies which provide a 1248 "1" state
negative BCD output code are installed for A10 through A16.
The readout assembly installed for A18 also provides a
1248 "1" state negative BCD output. Schematic diagrams
and parts tables for these assemblies appear in the
Service manual under Option 03 in Section V.

4. An HP part number 05245-91051 Decimal light assembly is
installed for A8. This assembly is electrically equivalent
to the assembly normally used for A8 except the diode matrix
provides a 1248 "1" state negative BCD output. The BCD
output obtained from this assembly for each decimal light
   is given in a table.

5. An HP part number 05245-91052 Measurement Units Assembly
is installed for A9. This assembly is electrically equivalent
to the assembly normally used for A9 except the diode matrix
provides a 1248 "1" state negative BCD output. The BCD
output obtained from this assembly for each decimal light
   is given in a table.

6. Schematic diagrams for the boards in 4 and 5 above are
   in the manual.

7. The instrument is supplied with a three conductor female (NEMA)
to two prong, parallel blade power cord adapter with ground
   lead (HP part number 1251-0048).

I think also that H## options spell H$$.
