Thanks to all who replied with help re: the BC 312 connector on ebay . It
looks like I have some BC 191 connectors on the way , deal to be finalised
though . I am also on to a BD 77 dynamotor ,I have to chase up the guy .
DM 21 are available brand new for 19 UK pounds from
www.armyradio.co.uk but the 3 to 1 exchange rate plus postage means it
would cost me over $100 Aust.
I have a Gibson Girl test set - TS 522 / CRT-3 to swap for above items , DM
21 and 114 connector . It has a few grungy marks externally on the grey
case , but under the lid it looks brand new with dummy antenna etc. It has 2
meters for testing Volts milliamps and RF output on 500 and 8364 khz .
Quite a nice piece of gear , possibly post WW2 manufacture . It has a
sticker saying it was calibrated in 1974 !!
If anyone is willing to do a deal on postage for me e.g. pay for the cost of
postage of the test set to USA,and throw in a BC 312 connector they can have
the test set for free . I will even throw in a original gibson girl manual
dated 1945 .
