[Milsurplus] BC 191 info needed

If you do not try to load the 191 beyond about 60-70 watts it is stable
enough for amateur operation.  I have used the 191 on 75 meters AM with
good success. On 40 meters it is a little hard to get it to be stable, but 
again
it is all a matter of not trying to load it above 60-70 watts.  If you try
to push it above 100 watts the oscillator will "pull" and cause FMing on AM
and severe chirp on CW.  Many years ago I used on 160 meters AM and it
worked fine.  The secret is not to exceed the maximum power of the unit.
