I have an unidentified piece that came from an estate collection. The ID =
plate contains the following information:
Digital Display Unit
IP-384/FSQ
IBM Part # 3046228
Contract # AF-30(635)3190
Hazeltine Electronics Division
Hazeltine Corporation
Littleneck, LI, NY US
This unit is approximately 39 inches long, 7 in wide, 8 in tall.
One end has a 4" round CRT viewscreen. The same end has a panel with a =
number of adjustment pots for the CRT (convergence, guns, divergence, =
etc.)
The other end has connectors and the unit appears to be a slide-in type =
module of a larger machine.
The CRT appears to be almost as long as the unit inside, but I have not =
dissasenbled it....yet.
The only other ID plate is a warning for 3000 volts.
Anyone have any ideas what this is or is part of??
Patrick
