[Milsurplus] Antenna connector

Those of you who have a BC-344/312 and other similar boatanchors will
notice the top antenna connector on the receivers is a rather odd duck
to say the least.  I have a connector that mates to them but wonder what
type of coax they used.  It almost looks like it may have had a metalic
shield that the connector was soldered to.  Anyone have any ideas?  I
could change it out an dput the more common UHF type in there but then i
wouldn't have any fun asking these questions.

Anybody squirming in their chairs yet?  Tuffy huh?
