[Milsurplus] Whatsit?

I ran across an interesting little module today but have no idea what it is.
It's about 2 by 4 inches  with a 3-pin connector extending out one end and
finger stock around the sides where it would fit into some kind of houseing.
There are two wired-in peanut tubes, one in an RF circuit with a hairpin
coil that looks to be in the couple-hundred Mhz range.  The only marking on
the package  is "AS1630" and the construction and packaging appear to be
mil.

Anyone have a clue what this is?
