Fellow TBY fans,
I have a CRI-43007 I'd like to sell. This
will be a good project set for someone, I don't
have the time to keep going on this project.
Internally this radio is in very good condition, I
have powered it up and received TV carriers and
some CB traffic. The clear plastic covers over the
dial mechanisms have been replaced, the original
meter switch had a broken wafer, and was replaced with
a modern ceramic type, but the broken switch is included,
and the calibrator crystal is included as well. With all tubes,
but no spares.
Externally it is not in quite as good condition. The cal
book has crumbled, but what is left is included, and the
canvas straps have dried out and cracked, what is left is
also included. Some of the knobs are close, but not exact,
and the case has been given a light coat of hobby
store olive drab paint, close but not exact, however it doesn't
look horrible. The bottom antenna mount is there,
but the top insulator is missing. The dial locks are included
but need to be installed.
No accessories at all.
Also, bear in mind that this is the radio from the TBY-2
set, it does NOT have the radioactive paint on the front panel,
although the meter *may* have a radioactive needle and markings.
I'd like $40.00 for it, plus shipping to US or Canada. Shipping
will be from Reno, Nevada.
Thanks
