The 4B32 is the gas filled (low temp operation)  replacement for the 872
HV rectifier.  10kV PIV, 1.25 Amps output.  5V @ 7.5 Amps to light 'em
up.   Some BIG boat anchors used 872s but they were usually found in
broadcast equipment.  4B32s were used where cold starts were necessary,
and it was too cold to ionize the mercury.
