Not sure how related(if at all)this is to the discussion, but I have an
RU-16/GF-11 set up which has matching numbers on *every* item except for the
receiver dual coil sets. All of the single coil sets match, including the
transmitter coils. Until seeing this, I was never under the impression that any
items were 'matched' to a specific unit, but since obtaining this set I've come
to wonder. It's obviously a newer version of the -183, but still very similar.
Since the dual receiver coils apparently weren't issued as standard equipment
with every installation, this could explain why their numbers are different. As
well, the dual coils have adjustment holes for tuning the coils while installed
in the receiver.
In fact, I need only 3 plugs to complete this station - a #236(I think) for the
transmitter-to-junction box cable and two of #134 dynamotor-to-junction box.
All the rest were included, even a couple of 'dummy' covers and what appear to
be test plugs - plugs with no outlet but the sockets inside. Curious to know
also if there is a source for the original black multi-wire cable used in the
cable assemblies or what folks use in place of it.
Thanks -
