Correct. CX-4720/VRC - 28 vdc power.
4-pin socket one end, four wires other end.
This connects to corner connector on MT-1029/VRC.

Correct. Connects to AM-1780/VRC intercom amp/junction box.
It's the next connector on the MT-1029.

CX-4721/VRC - Connects 28 vdc from the MT-1029 to the MT-1898 rack
for the R-442(*)/VRC aux. receiver, if used.
It's just like the CX-4720 except there is a 4-pin
connector on each end (male to MT-1029, female to
MT-1898).
You'll also likely to need the CX-4722/VRC which connects to the front
panel of the RT-524(*) and goes to the MX-6707/VRC base and tuning unit
part of the AS-1769/VRC antenna. This allows the base antenna tuner to
automatically select the correct matching circuit as the RT frequency is
changed.
CG-1773 is RF coax with BNC connectors, one a right-angle unit, that
goes between the front of the RT and the antenna's MX-6707 unit.

Try Fair Radio Sales (http://www.fairradio.com). They have had the 4720
and 4722 cables in the past. You may need to specify the desired
length. The 1773 and 4722 cables to the antenna should be about the
same length. I needed a 15 foot length of CG-1773 and CX-4722, and was
only able to find that length on eBay.
In fact, eBay is probably the most likely source. AN/VRC-12 series
components show up all the time there.

That's just pure eBay seller hype, IMO. I'd rather have the latest "A"
model any day over the early stuff.

I doubt that the very low powered AN/VRC-64 would have been a standard
installation in any large vehicle. A simple AN/VRC-46 (single RT-524)
wouldn't take up any more room and is much higher power and doesn't
require manual selection for the remote antenna matching unit. It would
have been unlikely for an installation in a large vehicle to have
realized much value from being able to dismount the PRC-77 for portable
use, which is the ONLY advantage of a VRC-64 over a VRC-46.
Also, the AN/VRC-46 set components are very common, and reasonably
priced, usually. The AN/PRC-77 and the other items required to put
together a AN/VRC-64 will likely cost a significant amount more than a
VRC-46.
