I guess I'm just easily entertained, but I thought the discussion of
gas prices informative: it's a window on other's worlds that I wouldn't
otherwise access, for lack of time (well, I've HEARD of Art Bell, but I
don't stay up that late ...) OTOH, I thought the discussion of the
BC-191/BC-375 tendentious and boring, as I don't have either rig, and am
not likely ever too - yet I would hardly criticize such postings, esp.
since they're on topic!
Since I'm sure Ralph long ago gave up trying to get me to make any
sense, much less stay on topic, here's a coupla oddities I could use
some advice on:
What forum/who would be interested, in an original box for the Aurora
kit no. 326-150 (U.S. Army M-109 Howitzer Tank)? I built the kit long
ago, and no longer have the plastic model, but I found the box,
containing two "terrain" blow-moldings, and several "soldiers". It is
in very nice condx. There are also a couple of pieces of the decal
sheets for the Swedish "S" tank, which I also no longer have.
Also, are 7.5 x 17" Dodge wheels and tires of any value to mil-surp
vehicle restorers? These are from a 60's-era FMC motor home made on a
Chrysler frame.
As a radio subject, I'm compiling my experiences on the RT-70/AM-65
into an article (probably for ER mag). Does anyone have anything to add
to what's already been posted?
I'll go try and behave myself now ... e
