[Milsurplus] TDE Transmitter

We have a TDE transmitter with Motor Gen power supply installed on LST-325.
Some questions arise.  What have others done after the Motor Gen finally quits
and no longer can be repaired to keep the unit on the air?  We want to
maintain
the integrity of this historical unit but on the other hand want it to be
operational
as a working WW2 radio room.  All comments appreciated.
