11175.0 was active at 1521z with APPELLATE (NCS HFGCS) broadcasting
the 30 character EAM TRA3IQ.
11175.0 (APPELLATE on multiple frequencies) was active at 1606z with
TR7US4; 1609z TRVTBL; and 1611z TRD5K3. Then APPELLATE again but weaker on
8992.0 USB only, and at same weak levels on California, Gulf Coast and DC
area SDRs, at 1615z (TRD5K3); 1617z (TR7US4); and 1620z (TRVTBL). There
appears to be a transmitter site capable of being at weak/fair levels on
8992.0 on the Pacific, Gulf, and Atlantic coasts at this mid CONUS morning
echo broadcast. Salinas maybe? Or?
8992.6 USB active at 1620z, 1640z, 1710z and 1740z with SCORPION
(excellent levels on DC area SDR; 11175.0 simulcast with no offset)
broadcasting TRA3IQ. TACAMO LANT h+10/h+40 restoral repeat broadcast
windows. There's an active Atlantic NOTAM reservation for the IBEX. The
player has not been visible on ADSB mapping sites this local morning.
AE040E is noted for the use of the .6 offset; and, is pinging satcom sites
out of PAX RIVER. SCORPION is probably him.
