No post-0000z 09 Feb 25 UTC daily communications test count logged.
11175.0 was active at 1511z with OFFUTT (good levels) responding to
RED RIVER with a loud and clear signal check (RED RIVER unheard on SDR in
use).
1520z RED RIVER (excellent levels) worked MAINSAIL and exchanged
signal checks (loud and clear to both.)
1609z DOOR PLATE (E6B ex TRAVIS; TACAMO PAC) called MILKY WAY (NCS
HFGCS); worked MAINSAIL and entered the net.
1849z MILKY WAY broadcast the 30-character EAM FBM27I.
1920z and 1950z nothing heard from DOOR PLATE at the h+20/h+50 TACAMO
PAC restoral rebroadcast windows (using a California SDR).
1955z DOOR PLATE became fully visible on ADSBExchange on a direct
route to shore and TRAVIS.
1955z; 1956z; 1959z DOOR PLATE (excellent levels on California SDR)
called HAILSTORM with no known response.
2001z; 2004z DOOR PLATE called REITERATE with no known response.
2006z DOOR PLATE:
"Message of three groups follow:
KQJ HOP LNQ
Time 2006 ZULU
Authentication OH
I say again:
Message of three groups follow:
KQJ HOP LNQ
This is DOOR PLATE out."
And, quiet.
That appeared to be in the blind.
At the end of his mission. Are these "end of (a) mission" status reports?
LNQ is a "new" end group.
No response/acknowledgement heard.
Are these two called ground stations on the HFGCS network with access
to the remote receiving sites etc? Or, are they standalone? (The daily
communications test count station has alway keyed the entire network. For
decades.)
Are the frequencies guarded daily?
The E6Bs always seem to have the expectation of receiving a response to
their calls.
