0246z 09 Apr 25

07 Apr 25 UTC:

0007z, 0009z: BOAT LAKE (USSTRATCOM) with their daily communications test
count.

     8992.0 was active at 0043z with GOLD 43 calling MAINSAIL with no known
response. Western SDR.

     8992.0 TREE BEAM (NCS HFGCS) with a test count. Odd, in that it was
done in "very slow English" (VOA's special English but distinctly slower
[Willis Conover did it better]). This is TREE BEAM ONE
 TWO....etc. They did this the day before at 0103z too.

The NCS sounded mostly like "tree beam" but it also sound often like "tree
bean" (THREE BEAN with NATO pronunciation of the 3 - it's been very
apparent recently that the operators are diligently using the NATO "tree"
for 3 unlike the recent past, as if someone sent a stern memo. They still
don't hit the fifes for 5).

     11175z was active at 1559z- with QUOTABLE (presumed E6B; not visible
on ADSB sites maybe) working BOWLEGGED (processed audio; good levels;
probable ground CP) for signal (connectivity) checks ("5 by 5").

1600: QUOTABLE called BOWLEGGED and into his message traffic script:
Message of 3 groups follows: YSG CNF YRQ; time 00z; authentication EC;
repeat; out.

1602z: BOWLEGGED advised QUOTABLE he came in broken and unreadable
(QUOTABLE was excellent on upper midwest SDR).

1602z: QUOTABLE to BOWLEGGED with traffic script: Message of 3 groups; YSG
CNF YRQ; time 02; authentication PG; repeat; out.

1700z+/-: DARE 39 (presumed E6B; AF2567) launched from TRAVIS and flew east.

     11175.0 was active at 1716z with BIRDSEYE (E6B; suspected DARE 39)
calling and raising TREE BEAM to enter the net at 1718z.

    11175.0 was active at 1749z and 1750z with BIRDSEYE calling BOWLEGGED
with no known response from BOWLEGGED; but, he did raise TREE BEAM but did
not acknowledge.
CA
     11175.0 was active at 1753z and 1756z with BIRDSEYE calling DESICCANT
with no known response from DESSICANT; but, he did raise TREE BEAM but did
not acknowledge.

     11175.0 was active at 1800z with BIRDSEYE calling DESICCANT and went
into his message traffic script: WIX KNP MCG; time 1800z; authentication
CG; repeat; BIRDSEYE out.

2133z: SPOUT 41 (presumed E6B; AF266F) launches from TINKER and heads east
bound; makes a large U-turn over the southeastern U.S. and returns to
TINKER.

     11175.0 was active at 2226z with BEFRIEND (E6B; presumed SPOUT 41)
MAINSAIL, raised TREE BEAM; and entered the net at "223300z", another
to-the-second timestamp.

     11175.0 was active at 2236z with BEFRIEND calling RARE FIND; break;
and into his message traffic script: YEK LGO YRQ; time "37"; authentication
"22YF"; I say again; YEK LGO YRQ; time "2236"; authentication "YF";
BEFRIEND out.

UTC 07 April 25 was very active with NCS message traffic:

0346z AOKKMF
0706z AOOUB3

Then an eight hour window of heavy activity from THREE BEAM.

S2OGNZ, this series of EAMs became active 01 October 2024z (Fiscal Year).

minutes of the string's initial broadcast time.)
