All activity heard on 11175.0 USB unless noted otherwise.
0206z FLOP 12 called SKYMASTER and passed E6E5 in the blind. He raised
SLIPHORN (HFGCS) but apparently ignored him and passed 36E5 again with no
acknowledgement heard from anyone and gone.
0351z SLIPHORN broadcast a 34 character EAM XEADJV. This string will remain
current for the duration of the event.
0356z 8992.0 two very weak, mostly unreadable stations (one with female
operator) bcst XEADJV.
0421z DEADLOCK (E6; GOBI 46 TACAMO PAC in orbit over the Pacific) bcst
XEADJV. Other monitors captured DEADLOCK (presumed) on VLF with FSK
transmission of same.
0430z SLIPHORN standing by for traffic (SBFT)
0434z SLIPHORN bcst XEADJV. Restoral.
0439z SLIPHORN again bcst XEADJV.
0500z SLIPHORN SBFT
0501z SLIPHORN XEADJV
0505z SLIPHORN bcst a 34 character EAM XENS4K
0517z SLIPHORN rebcst XENS4K
0521z SPLIPHORN rebcst XENS4K
0531z SLIPHORN bcst XENS4K and XEADJV but disregarded.
0535z SLIPHORN bcst XESA4K and XEADJV. Both strings also seen on VLF by
other monitors.
0540z SLIPHORN SBFT.
0600z SLIPHORN with XENS4K and XEADFJ but disregarded.
0605z SLIPHORN with XENS4K and XEADJF
0610z SLIPHORN SBFT
0628z SLIPHORN with 34 character XEJIYD.
0632z SLIPHORN with XENS4K and XEADJV
0638z SLIPHORN SBFT.
0701z SLIPHORN XEJIYD and XEADSV.
0707z SLIPHORN SBFT
0730z SLIPHORN XEJIYD and XEADJV
0736z SLIPHORN SBFT
0755z SLIPHORN XEAS... disregarded in mid preamble (missed a character.)
0755z SLIPHORN XEANSR 34 character EAM.
0800z SLIPHORN XEJIYD and XEADJV.
0806z SLIPHORN SBFT.
0830z SLIPHORN XEANSR; XEADJV.
0836z SLIPHORN SBFT.
0855z SLIPHORN with 3ENV63 30 characters.
If you follow the playback feature of ADSBEXCHANGE you'll see that GOBI
46/DEADLOCK exited his current orbit to fly directly south of his current
position at the time of this transmission.
0900z SLIPHORN XEANSR and XEADJV.
0907z SLIPHORN SBFT
0930z SLIPHORN 3ENV63.
0933z SLIPHORN SBFT
1000z SLIPHORN 3ENV63.
1002z SLIPHORN SBFT
ADSBEXCHANGE indicates that GOBI 46 made a wide turn to the east and
returned to the California coast.
Quiet from that point. End of exercise.
A singular SKYMASTER request. No other SKYMASTER calls heard or reported as
of this date. There was lots of HF air to air chatter from IRON, CHILL, etc
in the past 2 days but SKYMASTER requests were almost nil for this event.
There was approximately 1.5 hours between the first SKYMASTER call and the
first message traffic heard from the HFGCS. That window was very similar
to the much busier event of 21 Aug 24.
A total of four 34-character EAMs. 34 character strings have been common to
these events. All strings but the first expired quickly in their message
queues. The 0351z string remained active in the queue for 5 hours. As it
expired the 3E 30 character EAM appeared and remained active in the queue
for one hour to the apparent end of the exercise.
GOBI 46 was in orbit for approximately 8 hours.
