[FROSH 47 E6 became active at OFFUTT on ADSB sites at 2001z; launched at
2011z.]
2027z 15016 RESECTION (very weak on all freqs and sdrs; best on 15016;
missed 5F preamble and got only last 23 characters of the 30 character
string. String not heard again at restoral times.
[CURT 80; E6 (probably the ABNCP mission; became active at 2036z at OFFUTT
and launched at 2046z); began making "lines and loops" during the afternoon
over the missile fields of western Nebraska (2136z), Montana (2312z), and
North Dakota (0032z 31 Jul).]
2100z Nothing heard.
2130z RESECTION standing by for traffic.

RESECTION to enter the net. No response.

2139z 15016 Again. No response.
2142z 11175.0 Again. No response.

2233z RESEMBLE calling RED BREAST.
2239z RESEMBLE calling RESECTION.
2244z WEST COAST with Test Count.
2300z Nothing heard.
2330z RESECTION standing by for traffic.
UTC 07/31/24
0001z SEA WASP (HFGCS newday) standing by for traffic.
0010z SEA WASP with 30 character TQF3BF (lots of "dead air" spots during
transmission; sometimes heard in earlier transmissions of EAMs where the
audio just stops and usually starts later in the string.)
0015z SEA WASP with 44 character TQNOPA.
0019z SEA WASP with repeat of TQF3BF (without problems.)
0031z SEA WASP standing by for traffic.
(No such h+00/h+30 statements from this point.)
0032z LL17 (LIMA LIMA 17; female operator; good/fair levels on Cali sdr;
propagational echo on her audio) calling and raising MAINSAIL for) radio
check.
0047z SEA WASP with 30 character EAM 5FLPSG.
0054z SEA WASP with 30 character EAM 5FXEBF.
0059z SEA WASP with 30 character EAM 5FBQJY
[0103z CURT 80 E6 broke from its "loops and line" North Dakota orbit and
returned to OFFUTT for a short while and then repositioned to TINKER.. No
known HF message traffic activity.]
0238z SEA WASP with 30-character EAM 5FZUBX.
0250z COCK FIGHT ( TACAMO PAC; Probably newday callword for RESEMBLE/ABASK
76 E6 who eventually entered an orbit over the Pacific at around 0207z 31
Jul) with 5FZUBX H+20/50 restoral transmission.
0305z SEA WASP with 5FZUBX restoral repeat transmission (not at h+00.)
0320z Nothing heard but probably missed it on 8992.
0350z COCK FIGHT with 5FZUBX (8992 good on Cali sdr; weak/readable on 8992
Ohio Valley sdr.)
0420z COCK FIGHT 5FZUBX 8992.0 West Coast and Ohio Valley sdrs.
(That's probably it as ABASK 76 is out of his orbit and descending into
TRAVIS at this time.)
That "standing by for traffic" activity on the HFGCS lasted for at least
9.5 hours. The last known instance of such lengthy h+00/h+30 "SBFT" HFGCS
activity was UTC 27 Jun 24 beginning at 0030z and apparently ending at
0730z (without message traffic [with one early exception] during the event.)
