1711z ABSTRACT calling and working PITCHOUT to check into the net. Believed
to be
JINGO 62.

1800z PITCHOUT standing by for traffic.

1830z Nothing heard from PITCHOUT.

1910z LEGAL FEE working PITCHOUT to check into the net. Believed to be
FENCE 58.

2020z PITCHOUT with new string 5FCBFW (5F are 30 character strings).

2050z PITCHOUT (very weak/mostly unreadable on west coast and Ohio Valley
SDRs) with EAM
that, based on partial transcript, was 5FWIKH (below).

2100z PITCHOUT (excellent levels but instantly faded to unheard levels near
the end of transmission)
with 5FWIKH.  Probable h+00/h+30 restoral transmission.

2103z PITCHOUT (with noticeable "delay" echo) with 51 character TQIDZQ.

2106z PITCHOUT began 5FWIKH but disregarded. (The message queue apparently
changed.)

2106z PITCHOUT immediately with new string 5FYL7W.

2109z PITCHOUT standing by for traffic. (Note the deviation from h+00.)

2122z PITCHOUT with new string 5FGYY7.

transmission. The message queues were very short lived, with apparent
expiration
demarcation by the TQ strings.

2230z PITCHOUT standing by for traffic.

2246z LEGAL FEE called PITCHOUT and raised MAINSAIL. Apparently to exit the
net.
(FENCE 58 was on approach to TINKER.)

2252z ABSTRACT checking out of the net in the blind. (JINGO 52 was on
approach
to PAX RIVER.)

2300z Nothing heard from PITCHOUT.

During the above no known restoral broadcasts were
heard from LEGAL FEE or ABSTRACT on the Ohio Valley
and West Coast SDRS. But propagation was very strange
during the day.

28 Jul 24 (Saturday, and something different.)

0112z RED RIVER (strong on Ohio Valley and West Coast SDR) working
(pronounced
VEX-SUN 12; VEXUN?; never sounded like VIXEN - strong on both Ohio Valley
and
West Coast SDRs (??)). (I'll call it V12) advised RED RIVER his ETA was
"1100 local" (meaning
11 PM local.)

0141z RED RIVER working V12.

0146z RED RIVER working V12 (these brief comms were like engineering
checks.)

0156z RED RIVER asked V12 "regarding "viewer", was V12 a "participant" or a
"viewer?" V12 said "we are a participant."

0159z V12 called and raised RED RIVER to confirm they are a "participant";
and had
"a pretty high air rate."

0208z TRUCKBED (HFGCS) with EAM string 5FQOXJ.

0211z V12 called and raised RED RIVER and requested a "bump." "bump "BAD
WRECKER"
(or sounds like) confirming." Then went quiet.

Then the daylight hours got interesting...

1617z TRUCKBED with 5FID7T.

1636z BROWN RAT called and raised TRUCKBED and entered the net. Probably
TALKY 64.
TACAMO PAC ex TRAVIS.

1640z 15016.0 weak mostly unreadable a player with 5FIDHT. Suspected BLITE
64 ex
PAX RIVER. TACAMO LANT. Very weak. ID sounded like "FAIRNESS" but was
probably something else.  Never got a clear ID.

1700z 15016.0 Ohio Valley SDR. Very weak in Gulf Coast SDR; weak in Ohio
Valley.
Too weak to ID (maybe BALLsomething) with 5FIDHT. (BEGIN 68 ex TINKER was
over
the Gulf) H+00/30 is the Gulf/ABNCP restoral windows. Unusual to be so weak.
Missed between 1700z and 1819z.

1819/20z BROWN RAT (strong on West Coast) with 268-character EAM RO27PK.
The RO series
(previously BJ) in strings longer than around 108 characters contain very
unique
formatting in the form of 4/18 groups and a 4/9 ending block (single
character tetra
group followed by and 18 character block; an, and ending block of single
character
tetra group followed by a 9-character block.) I believe it is very rare to
hear
these heavily formatted strings in the E6 restorals on a day to day basis.
I don't
recall hearing them from the E6s at all (maybe) in the past 30 years.
1845z TRUCKBED with 142-character EAM RO5OSV. Again, 4/18 blocks and 4/9
ending block.
Transmission time is about 9/10 minutes.

1903z BROWN RAT (Fair/good on West coast; weak/unreadable on 15016.0 on
Gulf Coast sdrs) with:
RO5OSV more to follow
RO27PK.

1929z BROWN RAT restoral (normally at h+20/50.)
RO5OSV and out.

1950z BROWN RAT

2007z TRUCKBED with 39 character TQ7GPK.
(Around 1950z+/- BEGIN 68 in the Gulf appears to break from his orbits and
returns
to the coast. BEGIN 68 is never heard with the RO strings.)

TQ7GPK and out.

2055z MAINSAIL (weak) working ? (unheard) who exited the net. (Suspected
BLITE 64. Never
heard with the RO or TQ strings.)

2147z TRUCK BED with 34 character TQXTZO.

2150z Nothing heard from BROWN RAT.

2220z BROWN RAT

2250Z BROWN RAT
TQXTZO.

2320z Nothing heard.  2250z was the last message traffic heard on this UTC
day.
BROWN RAT/TAKLY 64 entered orbit over the Pacific around 1630z; and, left
orbit
around 2300z (immediately after the 2250z restoral.) That's a 7 hour orbit,
an
exercise level event for the E6. The other two E6s (LANT and ABNCP) were
over
the Gulf and Atlantic for a "normal" 2 hour period, and did not apparently
take part in the RO and TQ string event. It appeared to be PAC focused.
And there were no 5F strings heard from BROWN RAT or HFGCS during the post
1700z event.
