0330z 23 Dec 24
UTC 22/23 Dec Pacific NOTAM reservation: 2031z - 0517z.
No message traffic logged or reported since 2336z 21 Dec 24. It was a very
quiet CONUS Saturday (0249z; 0445z; 2336z message traffic; COOL AIR - NCS
HFGCS).
2033z 11175.0 was active at 2033z with OVERTURE (NCS HFGCS)
broadcasting a 30 character EAM "ABITQK" FOR somethingIX 28 (sounded like
VIX OR DIX).
2102z HOCK SHOP (TACAMO PAC) called MAINSAIL.
2103z OVERTURE broadcast the 30 character EAM "ND577I." 30 minutes
after the 2033z FOR string.
2122z HOCK SHOP broadcast ND577I; but stopped and went quiet during
theBV preamble.
_)
2124z HOCK SHOP broadcast ND577I and finished the string.
2134z OVERTURE broadcast the 30 character EAM "NDEZBP."
2144z HOCK SHOP called and worked OVERTURE and entered the net.
2150z HOCK SHOP began his ALL STATIONS, ALL STATIONS broadcast but
quickly disregarded.
2150z HOCK SHOP broadcast ND577I; restoral.
2221z HOCK SHOP broadcast ND577I; restoral.
2227z OVERTURE broadcast the 142 character EAM "BVXGWN." Highly
structured string with their typical multiple 18-characer/single character
quad blocks (18/4); and, their typical 9-character ending block.
2257z HOCK SHOP broadcast ND577I but immediately disregarded during
the preamble.
2300z HOCK SHOP broadcast ND577I; restoral. H+00; odd for the west
coast.
2320z Nothing heard.
0145z PAST TIME (E6; not HOCK SHOP new day) called and eventually
raised MAINSAIL and requested that MAINSAIL contact (callword) about
entering the net. 0159z MAINSAIL stated she was unable to raise GROUND
PARTY (the callword was not the NCS ID.) At 0204z PAST TIME attempted to
raise MAINSAIL on 8992.0.
0228z SIGN POST (apparently old day HOCK SHOP) worked TRANSLATE (NCS
HFGCS; new UTC callword) and exited the net. Lots of power supply artifacts
on his audio.
0250z TRANSLATE broadcast the 30-character EAM "NDM6L5."
0254z PAST TIME broadcast NDM6L5; restoral; TACAMO PAC. His signal is
good on California SDRs; it makes it to the Gulf coast (heard here on
15016.)
0320z PAST TIME; NDM6L5 (California; Gulf coast; DC area)
0350z PAST TIME; NDM6L5.
None of the above active E6s have been visible on ADSB mapping sites 22 Dec
24 UTC until just now (after 0400z 23 Dec). PAST TIME/PERMA 30/AE041B has
just become visible approaching the California coast. They are pinging
during the local day in a way that is being captured on ADSC/satcom boxes
though. There's an apparent recent pattern of the aircraft not being
visible on the mapping sites on launch or airborne until they are
apparently returning from activity over water, at least over the past few
days (Saturday was nil activity.) HOCK SHOP/SIGN POST was never visible to
my knowledge.
