2024z+/- NESCO 11 (AE0412) launched from TINKER and flew to the Gulf
of Mexico.
2033z PEDIGREE (NCS HFGCS) broadcast the 30 character EAM "NDFQZL."
2044z DANDY LION (NESCO 11) called and raised PEDIGREE and entered the
net.
2100z PRIMITIVE (NESCO 11) broadcast NDFQZL. H+00/h+30 restoral
broadcast. Sent while east of Temple/Kilgore Texas southbound.
2117z PEDIGREE broadcast the 30 character EAM "NDFBBF."
2119z PEDIGREE broadcast the 30 character EAM "ND7X2E."
2130z PRIMITIVE broadcast NDFQZL restoral.
2130z PEDIGREE broadcast ND7X2E and ND7FBBF (in that order) restoral
dualling with PRIMITIVE.
2149z+/- NESCO 11 broadcast NDFQZL via 27.2 KHz 50 baud FSK.
2200z PRIMITIVE broadcast NDFQZL. Nothing heard from PEDIGREE.
2230z PRIMITIVE broadcast NDFQZL.
2300z Nothing heard from PRIMITIVE (returning to Texas shore.)
2336z DANDY LION (NESCO 11; same operator as PRIMITIVE) called and
worked PEDIGREE to exit the net but was told to stand by while PEDIGREE
prepared to rebroadcast EAM NDQB6C at request of SEA SPRAY (TACAMO PAC).
DANDY LION called PEDIGREE at 2349z and 2352z with no known response (he
was at TINKER in a go around or touch and go.) I heard no further
authentication activity to exit the net.
It's another example of what may be the Gulf (or very rarely Lake
Superior) h+00/h+30 E6 (usually out of OFFUTT or TINKER) enter the net and
exit the net under the launch callword; but, perform the h+00/h+30
restorals (ABNCP duty?) under another callword. Two missions in one
aircraft.
As this is being typed TRAY 99 (AE0412; see NESCO 11 above) launched
from TINKER at 0344z, flew to the Gulf for an hour (reservation
0300z-0800z), and is returning to the Texas shore at this time. No known
message traffic was heard or seen (dropped off ADSB map sites at the ADIZ
boundary. Reappeared at same).
