[MilCom] A scanning question

Since milcom frequencies cover two bands, (200 & 300 mhz), it wouldn't be practical to do that for the milcom frequencies. However - yes, on the General Aviation frequencies (100mhz) they will use the 'shortcut' of leaving off the first '1'.. Another example of that would be tower and ground frequencies. I often hear Riverside (KRAL) tower on 121.0 telling aircraft to "Contact ground on point seven" (121.7). I hear this at most airports that use 121 for both tower and ground freqs. <>< MikeMonitoring from western Riverside County, CA.

I know it's common with planes, where 512 would be 125.12
Not sure outside of there.
