[MilCom] HF Antenna Utilized For Monitoring? Re: HF Log For 09/22/2021

I understand receivers are getting more sensitive and sometimes you can
get a lot with the built-in antenna (although ext is preferred, esp for dx).
With a Grundig 400 + 800, the built-in antennas do well. The right
externals do better.
Someone told me the initial idea was "throw as much wire as you can, as
high up as you can." After that, get specific (like you).
P.S. If you get a lot of noise, turn your computer off to see if that's
the culprit. There are 'quiet' power supplies available. Happened to me.
