Hello my fellow comrades

It has been a while and a few people have been asking what type gear I use here.
My first thought would be to say the antennae is the first & upmost part of any listening
set-up.

I have a 50ft tower on my property. Mounted upon it is a Force-12 multi-monobander
with a 40 meter rotatable dipole attached.

A few feet below the beam is an Alpha Delta LB DX mounted in the inverted V configuration.
This not only is my 40-160 meter Amateur radio transmit antenna, its also my main receive
antenna for Milcomms & SWL. Highly recommended. It can hear worldwide depending on
conditions of course.

I am currently using 2 Ten Tec RX-350 as my main listening radios. On the side I run 6
Yaesu FRG-100. These I keep running in the background listening on less active frequencies.

For UHF/ VHF I am in a less than ideal situation. My antenna is not high enough to get good
2-way comms. I have been thinking for way to long about mounting a new discone onto
my tower as I am able to receive Aircraft in the air but not the ground stations at this time.
I am just to far beyond the curvature of the earth to hear them.

The UHF/VHF receivers are 4 Icom IC-R100 & 2 Realistic PRO-2006 scanners.

With all of this gear running in one small room it gets very loud. At Times I may get a callsign
or 2 wrong. It does not bother me but apparently there is a person here on Military Scan
that thinks differently. What I am sharing is my log. Nothing else. The people that dont like
it dont have to read it. Just hit the delete button. I am open to discussion in an adult manner
as well. However I dont take a lot of Bull Shit. I dont have to post my log here and I will leave
if this continues.
