This afternoon/evening was the first shack time I've had in about a week
and it was an opportunity to catch a couple of new US Navy things.

First, I caught a VP-8 P-8A out of NAS Jacksonville using an odd Mode-S
hex. The AE6### tac hexes are nothing new, but TIGER 50 (P-8A, 169570,
VP-8) was using B9E85A. I've never seen or heard any of the NAS Jax P-8s
using a B##### hex before, so they may be worth watching. The BuNo was tied
to the flight using their check in with VP-8 Base on 271.400 while they
were RTB.

Second, I caught a VAW-120 E-2D conducting aerial refueling off of the SC
coast this evening. GREYHAWK 43 (E-2D, 169082, VAW-120) was refueling
from JAKE 13 (KC-135R, 58-0079, 186th ARW on 236.350. The BuNo wasn't
showing on ADS-B Exchange, GREYHAWK 43 passed 169082 as their BuNo at the
beginning of the AR. The E-2Ds have only received the AR capability within
the last year and this was the first time I've heard one doing it.
