[MilCom] Apollo Moon Landing 50 years ago...

It has been several years since this topic was discussed, but at the 50 year
mark I thought I would kick it off again.

Where were YOU  50 years ago on July 20,1969?


Myself, (and by myself) at just 14 years old was  on a Blue BRANIFF AIRWAYS
B-707 sliding around Cuba from Miami, headed to 
Tocumen Intl in Panama to stay with my older brother and his wife for a
Month.
He was stationed at Ft. Gulick CZ as a sniper instructor.
The Pilot came on the cabin speaker, and announced that we (Apollo) had
landed on the moon

We watched as best we could that night  on a little B&W tv on a ARFTS tv
channel in Coco Solo.
