"Mace 01" and "Mace 02," two A-10Cs from the Indiana Air National Guard's 122FW out of Ft Wayne IN, are working over Avon Park Bombing Range, expending GBU-38 & GBU-12 Munitions and Maverick Missiles.
Mace 01 is tail number 79-0219
Mace 02 is tail number 0230.
They were Air-Air Refueled by KC-135 tanker "Bison 22" (KC-135 62-3580) .
They are using freqs:
276.600 South Tac Range
346.650 Air-air
238.900 AAR Boom Comms
354.400 JTAC "Thor"
Their stablemates, "Apex 01" and "Apex 02" are also on the Range and are in comms on 354.4.
This is part of Exercise Guardian Blitz.
